Basic Statement of Faith--We believe:
-the Bible is the only infallible, inspired, authoritative Word of God and our final authority for all matters of faith and Christian practice.
- there is only one God who is the Creator of all things, and He is eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that each possess the full attributes of Deity.
- Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and His death on the cross is the only means through which we can be made right with God. He bodily rose from the dead and ascended to the right hand of God and will return again to earth in power and glory.
- forgiveness of our sins is available only by the grace of God through the death of Jesus Christ, and this free gift of forgiveness is available to each person who places their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
- all people are created in God's image and matter deeply to Him. Central to the message of the Bible is that God loves people, and invites them to live in communion with Himself and in community with each other. All believers are members of the body of Christ.
- the local church is a congregation of believers who gather for worship, prayer, instruction, encouragement, mutual accountability, and community with each other, also practicing the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Through the church, believers invest time, energy, and resources to fulfill the Great Commission.
