U. S. EVENTS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY:
-The International Conference on Missions (formerly called National Missionary Convention) is a FANTASTIC gathering of Christians from all over the world, meeting together a week or two before Thanksgiving every year in different cities. Wherever your passion is - from urban USA to the far reaches of the world - this is a place where you'll learn, connect, bond, and rejuvenate. Truly a blessed experience! Visit ICOM's site for more information!
-The Legacy Conference is packed with powerful workshops and main sessions. The focus is primarily on urban ministry, but there's a lot of teaching about the Bible, discipleship, and other great topics, as well. Along with good teaching, there's the opportunity to hear a lot of good music, as well. The conference culminates by holding a neighborhood outreach on Saturday each year. Traditionally held in July in Chicago, Illinois, they've started holding them around the country!
Local Family Projects:
-Find a local soup kitchen or food pantry that would allow your family to volunteer, whether it's straightening some cans or serving meals!
